The resins, mixed beforehand with catalysts and accelerators that allow the polymerization to take place even at room temperature, are distributed evenly using a brush and roller over the glass fabric, previously arranged on the open mold, impregnating them.

The solidification of resins with embedded glass fiber will produce fiberglass.
Realizing the spread process on a form (known as a mold) the design of the mold is copied; this method can be used to produce different products of various sizes, thickness, strength (several layers of reinforcement), strength, weight, color.

One can produce advanced composite with greater mechanical strength, using Kevlar or carbon fiber or hybrid tissues (for example, built with Kevlar or carbon fiber, weft or glass warp), which combines the merits of various reinforcements.
